LIMES 2003

Limes es un proyecto artístico y cultural que se desarrolla en distintos espacios artísticos y geográficos. Cada "capítulo" del proyecto incluye artistas locales e internacionales en relación al lugar donde ocurren los eventos.

Limes2003 se desarrolló en dos partes. La primera tiene lugar en un espacio "local": la galería comunal de arte Valfisken de Simrishamn, Suecia. Entre esta parte y la segunda consideramos el intercambio realizado con la galería Espacio C de Camargo, Cantabria, España. La segunda parte tiene lugar en cuatro espacios "internacionales": Museo de Artes Visuales de Montevideo, Escuela de Bellas Artes de Montevideo, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Buenos Aires y Museo de Arte Contemporáneo.

En ambos espacios participaron artistas escandinavos, latinoamericanos, europeos y asiáticos.

 Limes is an artistic and cultural project that develops in different artistic and geographic spaces. Every "chapter" of the project hast local and international artists in relation to the place the event is taking place.

Limes2003 developed in two parts. The first one take place in a "local" space": The Valfisken Aart Gallery at Simrishamn, Sweden. Between this part and the second we include an exchange with Espacio C Art Gallery at Camargo, Cantabria, Spain. The second part take place four "international" spaces: The Museum of Visual Arts of Montevideo, the Art School at La República University in Montevideo, The National Museum in Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Museom of Contemporary Art in Santiago, Chile.

In both spaces participated Scandinavian, Latin American, European and Asian artists.
