LALO BARRUBIA Born 1967 in Montevideo. Ppoet and performer. Her work is focused on poetry on the stage where she combines different disciplines. She has published several books of poetry and the novels Arena (Montevideo, Planeta, 2003) and Pegame que me gusta (Montevideo, Trilce, 2009). Her poems are represented in several anthologies and she has participated in many festivals around the world. She lives in Malmö and works with translation and dissemination of Latin American poetry.
