Swedish-Cuban writer, translator and journalist. Winner of Radio France Internationale’s Juan Rulfo Award 2007. Member of the Board of The Swedish Writers Union and member of the Swedish PEN Club. He has translated several Swedish books into Spanish and his own works have been translated into French, Italian, English and Finnish. He has published novels, essays and poetry, including THE ISLAND OF CUNDEAMOR and WELCOME TO MIAMI, DOCTOR LEAL (Latin American Literary Review Press 2009).
