Khamis Qutshan is a Palestinian visual artist and novelist of Bedouin origin from Beersheba. He was born in Jordan and has been living in Germany since 2000. He works in both visual arts and literature, with his creative output centered on the Palestinian human experience, exile, memory, and identity.
In his paintings, he blends realist, expressionist, and symbolic approaches, using color as a tool of emotional and human meaning. He has held solo and group exhibitions in Jordan and Germany, among the most notable being the “Longing” exhibition in Berlin.
In literature, he has published the novel “Café at the End of the Road,” which explores the experience of alienation and the search for homeland. Khamis Qatshan is considered one of the cultural voices that unite word and image as acts of testimony and memory. |
